Our Belief

A simple suggestion can change what we think about ourselves and even our bodies, inside and out. In a report psychological science on the hotel  maids the researchers noted that just by being told that, “The work they do (cleaning rooms) is a good exercise and satisfies the surgeon general’s recommendations for an active  lifestyle”, the women perceived themselves to be getting significantly more exercise than before and showed a decrease in weight, blood pressure, body fat, waist to hip ratio and body mass index compared to those weren’t told this. Our beliefs about our bodies seem to have an uncanny impact on how we experience our bodies – for good or bad.
